Nelson is 56% full. Inflow is 75 cfs and 0 outflow. Walleye, northern and perch fishing remains very good. For walleye and northern fish the weed lines in about 15’. For perch check out the deepest areas you can find. I like the area north of the island using small jigs or crappie rigs with small live minnows. The ramps are usable but be prepared to wade. The wind can make the state park ramp tough for unloading/loading. ProTip: at the ramp when it’s rough and windy put less trailer in the water and power load your boat.
