The salmon are beginning to school up in Fort Peck Marina Bay and Duck Creek Bay by the boat ramps. Some days are great for catching from shore; Some days are slow. Crank baits and Spoons are working to catch them.
The Captain and Fred Stingley, from Glasgow, went deep with downriggers. They caught two salmon–a 17-pounder and 5-pounder. The duo was fishing with their junk down into 100 to 125 feet of water.
Thank you for the report, guys–keep it up!
