Nelson is 57% full. Inflow is 15 cfs with no outflow. Walleye and northern fishing is good. Best method is crank bait and spoon trolling on the weed edges. There is a lot of floating vegetation as the lake is turning over. Perch fishing is fair in 25-30 feet using small live minnows. Best ramp on the lake is at the state park but be prepared to wade.
