From FWP Region 6
Nicole Kyger, block management technician south of Havre, sent this photo of Ragan Jonathan Enrold from Spokane, WA, who shot his first deer (a mule deer doe) on BMA #1 Faber/Springer.
Great job, Ragan!
We would love for you to send us (tasteful) pictures of youth (18 and under) and their 2022 harvest(s) from Region 6 (Northeast MT) that we could post on this Facebook page. We will accept pictures from the the whole 2022 hunting season.
The pics can be of any game animal/bird…deer, antelope, elk, sharptailed grouse, pheasant, goose, etc., or even the youth and family just out enjoying a hunt.
You can include as much or as little information as you’d like to describe the hunt, such as:
-Name/age/hometown of youth- (Or whatever information you feel comfortable with)
-Location- Don’t give away your favorite hunting spot! But even a general location like a particular BMA, county, “north of Saco”, etc.
-Any good “story” or experience associated with the hunt.
The intent of this is not to showcase “trophy” animals, but to showcase youth involved in hunting in our Region. We would love to see doe deer and cow elk!
You can either message this page or email Marc Kloker (R6 Information and Education Manager) at mkloker@mt.gov with the above information and a photo, and he will do his best to showcase your youth. Thanks!
