Breckin Long is 11 years old and enrolled in the FWP’s Hunters Apprentice Program this year and participated in the Youth Deer Hunt this week. Breckin is pictured with the Mule Deer Buck that he shot Thursday.This was his first deer. He got him with a shot from 340 yards away! Way to go Breckin! That is a heck of a shot! The Mule Deer Buck was harvested by Breckin on public land outside of Fort Peck Montana. Breckin was accompanied on his first hunt by his Dad, brother and his Grandpa Dan Long who sent us this great picture.
