Both reservoirs are ice covered with poor ice conditions. The warmer weather recently is not helping conditions, if you head out to ice fish be cautious. On my leaders for walleye I prefer about 24” of 14# to 17# fluorocarbon. I find it to be a bit more bite off resistant for a northern. If I’m fishing northerns I use a titanium leader, they can’t bite it off and normally can bend it up like a steel leader. I only use a 6” leader of titanium. Nnot 2Kinky is the brand I use.
