Don Wilkins and his wife, Beckie, from Glasgow, found some ice down Dry Arm that produced eight northerns and four walleye on Sunday morning. They tried to fish out of Nelson Creek on Saturday along with where they walked over a mile towards McGuire creek but never found more than five feet of water.
They only found 5-6 inches of ice, so proceed with caution. It’s still early despite recent cold temperatures!
