Pups love the holiday seasons. A special treat in their puppy stockings is always welcomed. Never reward your pup unless they sit or perform the special trick that you taught them. Dog Cookies can be a healthy and tasty snack for your favorite pup.

Here’s what Montana Grant’s pups get in their Holiday stockings. They are Santa approved!

2/3 cup of pumpkin puree

¼ cup of peanut butter

2 large eggs

2 ½-3 Cups of Whole Wheat flour

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or silicon mat.

Use a mixer, with a paddle, to beat the pumpkin, peanut butter, and eggs. Use medium high until blended

Gradually add 2 ½ cups of flour at low speed until incorporated.

Add ¼ cup of flour until dough is not sticky

Knead the dough on a floured surface, 3-4 times. Roll out the dough to ¼ inch thickness.

Using cookie cutters, cut out shapes and place on the baking sheet. Dog bone shaped cookie cutters are perfect.

Bake 20-25 minutes and let cool.

If you gift these treats to friend and neighbor pups, include the recipe.

Now you are Ruff, Ruff Ready for the holidays!
