Fresno fishing this week for walleye and northern slowed a bit due to weather fronts. Best fishing still remains on main lake points jigging in 10’to 18’. Tip ups with salted minnows are also working. Some nice perch and crappie are being caught in the deeper basin areas. A major weather front is approaching and may affect the bite for the tournament this weekend. Call the Fresno Tavern for more information.

This is a very well run and fun tournament. Nelson Reservoir is still fishing good food for walleye and northerns. The weather front also slowed the bite until today. I’m still fishing the weed lines on both sides shallow and deeper. Tip ups with live minnows as well as jigging is working. North of the big island there are some nice perch being caught. There is also a tournament there this weekend and the tournament is full so the lake will be busy. Also beware of the approaching weather. Good luck and be safe.
