Fresno is 25% full. Inflow 10 cfs and outflow 30 cfs. With the poor weather this week I did not receive any fishing reports from Fresno.

Nelson is over 80% full with no fluctuation in water level. I fished there yesterday catching 16 walleyes and 6 northerns with many more bites. The walleyes I caught had been feeding on small crappies. Best depth was on the point edges in 20’ to 23’. Jig raps were my choice. Fishing there for me was excellent. I was using a rod with micro guides which was not a good choice with the freezing temperatures as the guides were icing. By noon, though, the temp got above freezing. Some of the bays are icing so check conditions if you are heading for Fresno or Nelson.

Good fishing!
