Gary Rueb from Plentywood had a fantastic day out fishing with the Captain on Wednesday. Gary landed an impressive 29-inch walleye, while the Captain also reeled in a nice catch, measuring 32 inches. Both anglers practiced catch and release, allowing these fish to live on.

They found success using a combination of jig and minnow, as well as plastic with jig setups. While the post-spawn bite has been slow, signs of improvement are beginning to show in the Dry Arm on Peck Lake.
