Float-in access to remain open, vehicle and walk-in access temporarily closed

BILLINGS – Swinging Bridge Fishing Access Site (FAS) on the Stillwater River will be temporarily closed to vehicle and walk-in access due to a culvert replacement beginning Monday, April 22.

Float-in access via the Stillwater River will remain open during the project. However, boat launch and retrieval will not be open at this FAS. Fireman’s Point FAS is the next downstream site on the Stillwater River. Those with trailers and other large vehicles are cautioned that there will not be space for large vehicle turnaround on the access road during the partial closure.

The project is expected to last three days. Swinging Bridge FAS will fully reopen when the construction project is complete.
