HELENA – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, the hunting with hounds of all black bears will close in Black Bear Management Unit (BMU) 700 one-half hour after sunset on Wednesday, May 8.
Hunting of black bears without hounds in BMU 700 will continue until that quota has been met or until the end of spring season.
