Yellowstone may be America’s first national park—and a pretty magical place at that—but before you light up and soak in the scenery, keep this in mind that it’s still federal land, and Uncle Sam hasn’t gone green yet. Even if your home state has legalized recreational weed, lighting up in Yellowstone is still a federal offense. So before you blaze those trails, maybe just stick to hiking them.
