The following fishing report and photos are by Chancy and Dave’s Fish Camp at 2211 US Hwy 2 E in Evergreen, MT:

Flathead Lake:

Whitefish bite is going well!! South end of the lake near Finley Point, Skidoo bay, Bird Island, Rocky Point, Bull Island all been producing well.

North end try Woods bay Point, Sommers Bay, Angle Point and Rollins area.

Try 40 to 50′ water jigging 3/8 to 3/4 Oz spoons. We have all your local Whitefish jigs in stock!!

Lake trout action is still going well try flatfish trolling on bottom in 60 to 100′ delta area, west shore area to Shelter Island. Jigging larger jigs when Whitefishing also working well.

Ashley Lake:

Salmon action good trolling early mornings try small dodgers and wedding rings spinners 35 to 40′ of water. Most fish are 8 to 12″ range few bigger.

Lake Mary Ronan:

Perch bite been good early morning try 20 to 25 water jigging small spoon or small plastic craw fish. Salmon been slow but few nice fish.

Van lake:

Rainbows hitting well on power bait or trolling small spoons early.

Syliva lake:

Nice Grayling and Cutthroat on small dry flys or spinners.

Fisher river:

Fishing well for rainbows and few brookies. Small hooper patterns or black ants. Spinners fishing try Panther or rooster tails.

Flathead River/forks & Sloughs

Mainstem and forks fishing well fly fishing. Try attactor patterns in Stimulator, humpy, hoppers and purple haze. Spinners fishing try Panther martin in orange or gold. Little cleos in copper ar gold, salmon eggs work well also. Be sure to check your regulation on the river.

Slough fishing decent for pike and bass early mornings. Look for deep weed beds for pike in Church and Fennon spinnerbaits and Jerkbaits.

Echo Lake

Bass bite been good early morning fishing deep 15 to 20′ for smallmouth. Look in bays for largemouth.

Noxon Reservior:

Bass fishing been excellent few nice pike and some decent walleye.

Dickey lake:

Good salmon bite early morning trolling or jigging try 50′ water.
