Ready, Aim, Trade: The Lewistown Gun Show Coming to Fergus County

Lock, stock, and barrel—autumn in Montana just got a little louder.

If your safe is looking a little empty, your hunting rig needs an upgrade, or you just appreciate the distinct aroma of gun oil and good old-fashioned bargaining, mark your calendar for the second weekend of October. The Lewistown Gun Show is rolling into the Trade Center at the Fergus County Fairgrounds from October 9 through October 11, 2026.

Whether you’re in the market to buy, looking to sell that piece gathering dust, or ready to wheel and deal on a trade, this is where the action is. The organizers aren’t messing around with tables of scented candles and novelty jerky either—vendors are required to keep their tables at least 80% guns or gun-related gear, meaning you get pure, uncut sportsmanship from row to row.

The Quick Draw Details

  • Dates & Times:
    • Friday, Oct. 9: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (for the early birds catching the best trades)
    • Saturday, Oct. 10: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (full day to browse, haggle, and repeat)
    • Sunday, Oct. 11: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (the “one last deal before heading home” shift)
  • Admission: A cool $10.00 gets you in the door—and that single pass is good for all three days. Kids 12 and under get in free with an adult.
  • Location: Fergus County Fairgrounds Trade Center, Lewistown, MT.

A Quick Word on House Rules

Safety and common sense are always chambered first. All state and federal laws apply, and the venue isn’t responsible for accidents or theft. To keep the aisles clear and everything above board, leave the bulky gear in the truck: backpacks, oversized purses, and diaper bags are not allowed inside.
