Restrictions affect FWP properties in Deer Lodge, Sweet Grass, Treasure and Stillwater counties
HELENA – Fire restrictions continue to spread to other Montana counties as the summer heat continues. Stage I fire restrictions went into effect today at 12:01 a.m. for Deer Lodge County in west-central Montana. In south-central Montana, Stage I restrictions go into effect for Stillwater County, and Stage II restrictions go into effect in Sweet Grass County at 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 26. And in southeastern Montana, Stage I restrictions go into effect at 12:01 a.m., Friday, for Treasure County.
