URGENT: Fresno Challenge Cancelled Due to Dropping Water Levels

In a sudden and disappointing turn for the local angling community, the highly anticipated Fresno Challenge has been officially CANCELLED, according to a recent post on Walleyes Unlimited of Montana.

Tournament Director Josh Parrow delivered the tough news, citing rapidly declining water levels that will make the venue unsafe and unviable by the time the event kicks off.

“It may look good now, but with water being released downstream, it will be too low by tournament time.” — Josh Parrow, Tournament Director

While Fresno is off the table, your weekend isn’t ruined. Anglers are being encouraged to pivot to these upcoming opportunities:

  • See You at Tiber: Many participants are already shifting their plans and heading over to Tiber.
  • Rock Creek is Still ON: The Rock Creek tournament is locked in for the 6th and 7th. Because of the Fresno cancellation, organizers emphasize that it is not too late to enter!

What to do next: If you were registered for Fresno, cut your losses, update your travel plans, and get your registration in for Rock Creek before spots fill up.
