Ross Tate, known as the Whitefish Whisperer, had an impressive catch of about twenty whitefish in just a few hours at Flathead Lake. Fishing north of Yellow Bay, he used gentle jigging with half-ounce jigs at a depth of 60 feet, highlighting his skill in attracting the fish.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and Polson City will begin the Salish Point Shoreline Restoration Project on April 13 to combat erosion and preserve local ecology while maintaining public access.
