Kerilyn Brooks, of St. Regis, has had quite a time since the general season opened for the youth hunters. Both of her youngsters tagged deer (click here and here), and Keri was not far behind with tagging her doe! She ended up tagging her doe on Monday and finally got a chance to get out after her own animal.
In response to the work skinning and processing the meat, her statement was:
“Definitely got a full meat shed. Hill-Billy has his work cut out for him that’s for sure.”
Hill-Billy is her husband, Will.
Well, she’s right about that — one big buck and two nice does is a great start to the hunting season! Congratulations, Kerilyn!
