January 12, 2023 – Three days of summer fun in January? That’s what’s happening in Billings. The Great Rockies Sportshow returns in 2023 with more fun and adventure than ever before. The annual three-day event is the largest presentation of fishing, hunting, boats, RVs, travel and outdoor products in Montana.
Not only can visitors buy outdoor-related products they can also book their next vacation to Alaska, Canada, Africa, New Zealand. Regional exhibitors are there too from Washington (deep sea fishing) and Minnesota (canoe camping in the boundary waters of northern Minnesota).
The first RV and boat sale of the season rolls into MetraPark as part of the Great Rockies Sportshow. Seven top dealers are at the show. Shop and compare RV’s and boats in one place.
Highlighting the weekend’s entertainment is the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show. Check out this family friendly competition as pro lumberjacks engage in a number of competitions including log rolling, axe throwing, cross cut sawing, underhand chopping and more!
Returning this year is the Great Elk Tour with a new showcase of record elk on display.
More fun kids activities include the Kids catch and release Trout Pond and the always popular Gemstone & Fossil Mining.
