Canyon Ferry: Not a lot of anglers were out over the weekend with the windy, wet weather.  Those that did get out found success for walleye from the Silos to Hole in the Wall, around Ponds 1 and 4, and Hellgate while using bottom bouncers with chartreuse or red spinner blades with worms or various colored crankbaits in 15-25 feet of water.  White Earth and Snaggy Bay are producing walleyes from shore and boat on jigs. Rainbows are being caught on walleye gear, lures or cowbells in the traditional walleye spots as well as between Yacht Basin and Cemetery Island and around the Outhouse.  Rainbows are being caught from shore at Confederate and Goose Bay on a hook and worm.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Hauser: The cooler weekend kept most angers away, but the walleye bite inside the Causeway Arm was hot while trolling bottom bouncers and perch-colored spinners with crawlers. Some anglers are finding walleye below Canyon Ferry Dam while pitching jig and leech combos on the west bank. A few rainbows continue to be caught below Canyon Ferry Dam with plain crawlers or nymphs and while trolling cowbells with wedding rings at least 20 to 30 feet deep around York Bridge, across from Soup Creek, and out from Black Sandy.  Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena

Holter: Fewer anglers were interviewed this weekend due to the cooler weather, but good numbers of rainbows and an occasional kokanee continue to be caught on the lower end of the reservoir while using downriggers or leaded line and trolling cowbells or dodgers with kokanee spinners tipped with maggots or corn 30 to 40 feet deep. A few walleyes are being caught in the Canyon and in some of the bays on the west side of the reservoir near the Dam while jigging with leeches. Perch are being found throughout the reservoir around the weed beds while jigging with crawlers.  Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
