Canyon Ferry: Walleyes are being caught all along the east shore between Confederate and Avalanche, along the west shore both north and south of White Earth, and the Hellgate area. Trolling bottom bouncers with a worm harness or slow death rigs in 20 to 30 feet of water with chartreuse being the preferred color.  Rapalas and jigs are working as well. A few perch are being caught by anglers using walleye rigs in these same areas.  Rainbows are being caught on walleye gear, lures or cowbells in the traditional walleye spots as well as the north end of the reservoir around Cemetary Island and Hellgate.  Shore fishing is slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Hauser: The walleye bite has been decent around the dredge piles near Eldorado Bar, from the Causeway Bridge, and below Canyon Ferry Dam while using various jigs or trolling crawler harnesses with perch-colored spinner blades. Some anglers are catching walleye at night from the Causeway bridge while using slip bobbers and leeches. A few perch are being picked up during the evening hours from shore at Black Sandy while using small jigs and crawlers. Rainbow fishing has slowed down recently but some are being picked up out from Riverside Campground, York Bridge and the Black Sandy area while using plain crawlers, powerbait, and while trolling dark colored crankbaits or cowbells with wedding ring spinners.  Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena

Holter: The perch bite has been amazing lately inside the Canyon and around other points and weed beds throughout the reservoir while using jigs and worms. A few walleye are being picked up in the same areas as the perch. Rainbow fishing continues to be good while trolling flashers or crankbaits between Split Rock and the Dam. Kokanee action has slowed down but a few fish are still being caught near the Dam while trolling dodgers with hoochies and shoepeg corn between 50 and 75 feet of water.   Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
