Living in elk country means you never really know what’s waiting outside your door. Just ask a mom and daughter in Colorado, who were left stunned when a massive herd basically took over their neighborhood—roaming every inch of backyard space. And this isn’t the first time these elk have made headlines: they’ve been spotted strolling along a nearby highway and even shutting down a local golf course. Awe-inspiring, a little chaotic, and 100% proof that in elk country, nature always claims the front row.
