The Bureau of Land Management is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and/or conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for recent vandalism at the John G Trailhead in the Scratch Gravel Hills Recreation Area.
BLM staff discovered graffiti featuring inappropriate language on rocks near the trailhead during routine site monitoring.
“We’re asking for the public’s help,” said Chad Robinson, BLM Law Enforcement Officer. “These recreation areas belong to everyone, and vandalism like this impacts the entire community.”
BLM Law Enforcement is actively investigating the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to email BLM_MT_LawEnforcement@blm.gov or call 406-533-7600. Callers may remain anonymous.
