The engine roars echoed across Fort Peck Reservoir at 7:00 AM this morning as 153 teams officially launched to kick off this year’s highly anticipated Governor’s Cup! The tournament has drawn massive regional and national attention, bringing together a total of 306 anglers to compete on one of Montana’s premier waters. The event boasts a remarkably diverse field this year, including 84 out-of-state anglers who crossed state lines for a shot at the crown—featuring a dedicated duo making up the furthest traveling team from Kansas, and one lone competitor traveling all the way from Texas!
As the teams battle it out on the water, we are tracking the weigh-ins and will have the official tournament results posted right here on montanaoutdoor.com just as soon as they hit the scorer’s table.
