Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 8.21.26

Walleye- Bottom bouncers in 24-30 FOW on main lake points with slow death hooks are catching a fair amount of fish still. Troll speed has been .8-1 MPH. Orange blades or a single white bead was the deal for us last week.

Pike- Catching fish on crankbaits or spoons from 15-35 FOW. Lots of decent eating size northerns out there this year.

Salmon- Still pretty few and far between. Blues and greens seem to be the ticket right now. Trolling speed has been 2.1-2.2 and the majority of the fish caught have been 70-100 feet down with the gear
