Lakers– Lots of fish up on the shallow spawning areas still. 35-55 feet was the depth for us to catch the more aggressive fish using 3/4 ounce jigs with 4.8” paddletails. We also caught several trolling the dam and casting spoons towards the rocks.

Smallmouth- the bite slowed down a little bit this past week with the cold fronts but still managed some good fish with slip bobbers and minnows and S&T tackle hair jigs. Depths were all over from 40 to 10 feet.

Pike- still lots of fish cruising the shallow weed edges. Casting spoons and top water lures got the most action over the shallow weed beds.
