Fairy Lake Road #74 on the Bozeman Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forest will not open as planned on June 16th due to ongoing snow conditions.
Work is expected to begin within the next week and will have significant impacts on travel, particularly along Forest Roads 5563 (Albert Lothrop Road) and 453 (South side Road).
The work will begin two (2) miles north of North Fork, Idaho, to the Idaho/Montana State Line at Lost Trail Pass. This wood will be available to the public with a permit.
