27 pound Chinook salmon claims top $10,000 prize on first day of Inaugural Tournament of Kings on Fort Peck Reservoir
150 teams came from seven states including Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana to compete in the Inaugural Tournament of Kings on Fort Peck Reservoir. Nineteen total salmon were caught by the 150 teams. These are today’s winners.
First place- David Milam – Havre, MT, Daniel Milam – Havre, MT and Benjamin Milam – Billings, MT, Weight: 27.10 lbs Prize– $10,000
Second place- Jamie Dolen – South Shore, SD, Laura Dolen – South Shore, SD and Jessy Johnson – Milbank, SD Weight: 25.35 lbs, Prize– $,7500
Third place- Jody Goodman – Great Falls, MT and Kathy Goodman – Great Falls, MT Weight: 24.95 lbs Prize: $5,000
Fourth place- Dylan Sander – Glasgow, MT, Julious Lopez – Glasgow, MT and Trevor Kleppelid – Circle, MT, Shawn Sander– Plevna, MT
