Jim Johnson called in the Hi Country Browns Lake Fishing Report.
Lou Bouma and Johnson went ice fishing on Browns Lake this morning and caught 10 trout. All the trout weighed in at 2 1/2 to 4 pounds. They used eggs sacks and were fishing in around 14 feet of water. The ice is good on Browns Lake with 16-18 inches. Johnson said that anglers using worms and maggots were not having very good luck. He suggested that if you don’t have eggs available to try Power Bait.
