Information Still Sought in Cow Moose Poaching Case in Little Belt Mountains
State game wardens continue to seek information regarding the poaching of a cow moose near the south, or top end, of Belt Park Road in the Little Belt Mountains.
The moose was shot and killed in the early morning of Oct. 25 on private property along Belt Park Road, near Harley Park.
Two young of the year calves were found standing by the poached moose.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT. Rewards are available through the TIPMONT program and informants are kept confidential.
Since the poaching was first publicized, a private citizen has offered an additional reward through a donation.
