Justin Richardson, of Darby, Montana, was out in the mountains and came across this unique find. He refers to this as “the unicorn buck”, for obvious reasons.
It is hard to say what type of deer this is, but, as you can see, there is a third antler coming from the top of the buck’s skull. The deer skull had been sitting for quite some time, so it was chewed up a little and bleached out, but, nonetheless, he is definitely sporting a third antler.
What types of unusual skulls and/or sheds have you found during your mountain treks inside and outside of hunting season? Be sure to “Like” us on the MORS Facebook page and tell us about your finds!
