Hear what is happening in the Dillon and Kalispell areas.

Chancy from Snappy’s
Chancy at Snappy’s says there’s still some pretty good ice up there. Ashley Lake still pretty slow, Upper Thompson doing well on the perch and a few salmon as well. Lake Mary Ronan, perch fishin’s been pretty nice, average size fish. Some of the valley floors are starting to open up, so be careful on the sloughs with the ice thinning. Been a few guys out open water fishing, trolling, and jigging. March 9th there will be seminars at Snappy’s starting at 9am.

Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon
Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says the ice on Clark Canyon is 6 inches and diminishing pretty quick. The ling fishing has picked up, the trout fishing is getting better with a lot of the larger trout being caught. The ice around the edges is softening up and is expected to soften up and break loose this week end along the edges. If you’re in the Dillon area, stop into Rocky Mountain Supply for more information or call 406-683-2308.
