Free Aquatic Invasive Species Training available in three cities for natural resource educators

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation are offering Free Aquatic Invasive Species Training to natural resource educators or anyone who is interested.

A one-day training will be offered in Fort Peck on June 12, in Missoula on June 19 and in Great Falls on June 28. The session runs from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and lunch is provided at no cost. OPI credit is available for interested teachers. The Missoula workshop is nearing capacity, but there is space available in the other two.

The training is designed for participants to learn activities that they can do in a classroom or at events. Participants will receive a trunk of educational supplies and resources valued at $200. Organizations can send multiple people as space allows but will receive one trunk to share.
