MILES CITY – Tongue River Reservoir State Park is currently open for day use and camping, however there is no electricity, water or internet at the park due to area wildfires. Air quality is marginal. Periodic road closures near the park have occurred due to wildfire movement.

The park is under a Stage II Fire Restriction – campfires and charcoal grills are not permitted and generators can be operated from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. only.

Camping fees will be reduced by $6 due to the lack of electricity. A cancellation fee will not be assessed if you choose to cancel your reservation. To cancel your reservation please call 855-922-6768 or 855-517-2429. The park has limited phone service at this time.

For more information on area wildfires, please check Montana Wildland Fire Information at mtfireinfo.org or contact the FWP Region 7 office at (406) 234-0900 or email fwprg72@mt.gov.

Thank you, and please recreate safely!
