Save the date! It’s a bit down the road, but we want you to mark your calendars early for this one.

Montana Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife (MTSFW) is gearing up for their 14th Annual Pig Roast Fundraiser, happening on Saturday, April 20th at the Missoula County Fairgrounds in the Commercial building. This event promises to be a blast for the whole family!

For those who are interested in being at the best seats in the house with your crew, this is for you…

A couple of premiere seating, Sponsor Tables, are still available. These tables will be strategically positioned near the stage, seat 8 people, and will include 8 ‘Three Rifle Raffle’ tickets. The price for a Sponsor table is $500. The Sponsor can invite whoever they want to sit with them. If you are coming with a group, this is an opportunity for you to not worry about seating while helping the MTSFW with much needed fundraising for this Presidential Election year.

Bids are still being accepted for the Head Table at the 2024 Pig Roast Fundraiser. This table is front and center to the stage, seats 8, includes: a Rock Island Arms VR70 12-gauge, semi-auto shotgun and several magazines (photo below), 2 bottles of wine, 8 ‘Three Rifle Raffle’ tickets, and gets first access to the delicious roasted pig meal. The value of the Head Table is approximately $1,100.

The guest speaker is Charles Whitwam, creator, and administrator of HOWL for Wildlife. Charles will explain how HOWL For Wildlife works and how successful it has become. He will also give information on how to be more effective in your efforts to counter the endless onslaught of anti-hunting, anti-trapping, and anti-angling assaults. Charles has also created a podcast, called the HOWLCAST. Definitely worth checking out!

General admission for the Pig Roast is: Age 12 and under FREE; 13 years and older, $40 per person. General admission seating is first come. The Pig Roast starts at 2:00 p.m., dinner at approximately 4:30 p.m. Kids trout fishing pond, as all other games and raffles, begin at 2:00 p.m. Charles will speak during the dinner, and the live auction will follow the dinner. There will be a lot of fun activities for both kids and adults. A no-host wine and beer bar will also be available.

So, get April 20th locked in and make sure this event is on your radar!
