Canyon Ferry: Walleyes are being caught in 30-40 feet of water around Confederate and from the Silos to the river mouth in 15-25 feet of water while using bottom-bouncers with slow-death rigs or crankbaits. Perch and rainbows are also being caught on traditional walleye gear. Rainbows are being caught on the north end while trolling cowbells or rapalas between Yacht Basin and Cemetery Island and along the east and west shorelines. Hauser: Rainbow action has been good while trolling spoons, crankbaits or cowbells between Black Sandy and York Bridge, while fly fishing with leech patterns near the mouth of Spokane Creek and from the Causeway Bridge with flies or crawlers and a marshmallow. Holter: Rainbow action continues to be great on the lower end of the reservoir while trolling cowbells with wedding rings and worms, spoons, or crankbaits. An occasional kokanee is being picked up while trolling for rainbows. A few walleye and perch are being caught while jigging with worms along the Clay Banks, around the boat docks, and other points and weed beds in 10 to 45 feet of water. Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
