The Whitehall Gun Show is back at the Whitehall Community Center this weekend, September 11–13, and there should be plenty to look through. With room for up to 105 tables, you never really know what you’ll come across until you start wandering the aisles. Maybe you’re looking for something specific, maybe you like collecting, or maybe you just want to stop in and see what everyone brought. The show runs from 1–6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Sunday at 11 N. Division Street in Whitehall.
Admission is $5 for the whole weekend, so you can come back for another look without paying again. Kids under 15 also get in free when they’re with an adult. It’s a good excuse to get out of the house, visit with folks, browse the tables and possibly find something you didn’t know you needed until it was sitting right in front of you. Sometimes that’s half the fun of a gun show anyway: you go in “just to look,” and we all know how that can turn out.
