Flathead Area Fishing Report by Snappy’s Sport Senter 3.6.25

Flathead Lake – We are seeing a great Laker bite off the Delta. Try depths of about 10’-30’ using dead baits or casting swim baits.

Smith Lake – There is still 12+ inches of ice being reported. Fishing is slow but we are finding a few Pike and Perch.

Bitteroot Lake – There is approximately 6-8 inches of ice with variable ice conditions. We are seeing decent Perch action and a few Kokanee off the south end at depths about 140’.

Lower Thompson Lake – Approximately 8+ inches of ice. We are still finding  Salmon in depths of 60’- 80’ as well as a few good perch about 15’-30’.

Lake Mary Ronan– Approximately 8+ inches of ice. There is a good perch bite at depths about 20’ but the Kokanee fishing has slowed down.

Ashley Lake – Approximately 6-8 inches of ice. We are still catching some good Kokanee off the west shore. Try using Halis and Swedish Pimples around 80’.

Blanchard Lake – Approximately 8+ inches of ice with reports of a good Pike bite using TipUps.
