Three weeks have gone by already in the 2025 Fall Mack Days Fishing Event on Flathead Lake. The event does not end until November 2nd. Six more weeks to go-you still have time to come on out and get involved. Every lake trout entry gets you entered in the lottery drawings that begin at $2,000 and go to $400. Lots of categories and ways to win. Go to the website at www.mackdays.com for information. Mack Days Fishing Events are sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and are used as a tool to reduce the non-native lake trout in Flathead Lake. The native bull trout and westslope cutthroat are an important part of the fishing history of Flathead Lake and of the tribal people. You can fish as many days as you like-enjoy the outdoors in a fantastic setting on Flathead Lake.
