Have you spent day after day hunting for a particular animal that you just can’t seem to find?
Don’t get frustrated–you still have shooting opportunities! I went out elk hunting this past weekend and spent all day hiking around looking for so much as elk sign and found nothing more than a set of tracks from what I assumed were from a cow and her calf.
I did, however, remember to bring my camera. That day, I hiked to some of the most beautiful land in the state. There was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to shoot some pictures of this incredible scenery and some of the most awesome animals–that I didn’t have a permit to hunt.
I may not have run into elk that day, but I still got some awesome shots in!
