Rifle season for big game is less than a week away here in Montana, but the 2013 wolf season has been open since September 15th and will close on March 15, 2014. Montana’s wolf trapping season opens December 15th and lasts through February 28th.
Have you been out hunting wolves, and maybe you’ve seen tracks and other sign, but you haven’t actually seen any wolves? Is that discouraging you? Well, don’t let it! Although the website referred to in the trailer below is still under construction, they ensure that it will be a great place for wolf hunters in the north to get get wolf hunting and trapping tips.
