If you need any tips to topple a gobbler, David Holder can offer some great advice. Holder is a long-time turkey hunter turned reality TV celebrity as the father of the new Outdoor Channel series called “Raised Hunting.” Holder and his family lived in Montana – Great Falls and then Olney – for 18 years before moving to Iowa where their new show is based. Before that, though, Holder was a speaker for a national game call manufacturer giving seminars on subjects like turkey calling. He’s also a diehard archer, even preferring to hunt turkeys with a bow. With the turkey season opening today, Montana hunters have a couple of different techniques to try and bag a bird.
