Butte Fishing Report:

Salmon Flies with a Pats Stone size 8 or 10 dropper was paramount on the Big Hole this past week. The hatch is tapering off however. Caddis hatches are plentiful. With plenty on the water presently, the chance for bigger Browns or Rainbows is exponential. Many of the slower tributaries are coming on for general fly fishing and spin fishing.

The Beaverhead has been fishing pretty well this past week with smaller crowds. Golden Stones or Wooly Buggers have been working well. Yellow and White Sex Dungeon has been hot. Caddis hatches are showing up with plenty of surface activity available.

The bank fishing has been good for fly fisherman and spin fisherman at Clark Canyon, Runy Reservoir, and Delmo lake. Small Adams (size 14 or 16) have been a great choice.
