According to Express, Monster hunters in the UK are being offered 50,000 British pounds to “find comprehensive evidence for the existence of ten famous global beasts, including the Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot.” These most-likely expert hunters have until June 30, 2018 to find these creatures.
Here is a list of monsters that will get you this reward–obviously after extensive verification and testing:
- the Loch Ness Monster
- Mongolian Death Worm
- Earth Hound
- the Costa Rican goat-killer known as the Chupacabras
- the flying snake of Namibia
- the Australian ape-like Yowie
- the Cornish Owlman first talked about in 1976 when children reported a grotesque, feathered bird-man in and around a churchyard near the village of Mawnan Smith in Cornwall.
This is all to mark the launch of a new video game, Monster Hunter: World, Capcom, which has enlisted real-life monster hunter and Cryptozoologist, Jon Downes (Director of The Centre for Fortean Zoology – the world’s largest cryptozoological research organization) to help select the top 10 monsters and analyze the evidence as people submit it.
Laura Skelly, of Capcom added: “When planning the upcoming launch of Monster Hunter: World we couldn’t help but keep coming back to the real-life monsters we’ve all heard stories about since we were kids.
“Speaking to the world’s leading real-life monster hunter, Jon Downes, we were inspired to re-open investigations into a select list of top 10 beasts, setting a huge bounty to really encourage people to get back out hunting for evidence.
So, there you have it. If you find evidence of all 10 monsters, you can get 500,000 British pounds–which is equivalent to $694,020 here in the US as of February 7, 2018. Here’s a way to make some extra money if you’re certain these creatures are real–and you have a lot of money to invest in finding them–and time–and you’re willing to travel–and you’re a great hunter. It may take some effort, but the deadline will be here before you know it, so get to it–good luck…
