It’s not often that anglers want to punch a hole in the side of their boat. But Lewistown drift boat builder Brett Nienhuis dreamed up the idea to allow anglers in wheelchairs to access the crafts he builds at Big Fish Boat Works. The idea was the perfect match for Warriors and Quiet Waters, a Bozeman-based nonprofit that teaches veterans and their caregivers how to fly fish.

To read more about Nienhuis’ cool aluminum boat, and the others he makes, check out my story in the Billings Gazette at https://billingsgazette.com/outdoors/lewistown-builder-crafts-wheelchair-accessible-drift-boat/article_d65c4e5a-f168-50e8-ae50-f8c878eababd.html
