Craig Caddis Fest Canceled (by Headhunters Flyshop)

Another cancellation on the list this year includes the Craig Caddis Festival slated for the 16th, third Saturday in May.

This annual event, the 15th annual, may be re-scheduled for August. Still thinking about that and you can know for sure that we will post here when that decision is made.

So if you had planned on attending and supporting the Craig Volunteer Fire Department, you will have to wait until at least August.

For years the co-chairs Mark Raisler of Headhunters and Lynn Kenyon of Live in MT Realty, have been thinking about moving the date to August, or a somewhat sunnier date. Eight of the last ten have included some sort of inclement weather pattern including lots of rain on a few occasions. And snow on the ground this past year!

So this may be the tipping point that moves this fantastic fundraiser to a more appropriate date?! We will have to wait and see, but the thought of dry ground, not mud and puddles, is a happy one for sure.

All good here on this Tuesday in Craig. Slower pace for sure. Not many anglers out yesterday and may be the same today with wind forecast to be over 20mph. We will see air temps all over the board the remainder fo this week from 40’s, 50’s and mid 60’s Thursday to snow on Saturday with air temps in the 30’s. A mixed spring bag on the east side of the Rockies!
