The Captain said it right in his column last week when he said a lot can happen in a week! Montana’s wolf harvest numbers have surpassed 200 and are totaling 209 as of Sunday, February 9, 2014! Trappers have taken 71 so far, while hunters have taken 138 this season. Aside from Wolf Management Unit (WMU) 313, there have been no more reported Montana WMU closures to date.
