Just a reminder to resident Montana sportsmen interested in hunting and/or trapping bobcats this year–you MUST purchase a trapping license by the end of the day today, November 30th. Bobcat harvesting is available ONLY to Montana resident sportsmen. Without a Montana trapping license purchased on or before November 30th, you will not be able to hunt or trap bobcats for the 2015-2016 season, which opens on December 1st and closes February 15th for Districts 1, 2 and 3 and on March 1st for Districts 4, 5, 6 and 7. Note that there are quotas for each District, so the season will end when the quota is filled even if it is prior to season end dates.
